Enjoy the Super Bowl – In Moderation!

Still cleaning off my old Facebook Business page…this note comes from February 1, 2009…enjoy!


It’s the BIG DAY! The Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers are going to take it to the field in a few hours to see who’s got game!! It’s been a while since either team has won the Super Bowl, so I believe this is going to be an EXCITING game!! BOTH teams are HUNGRY for it!

Speaking of hungry, this is the biggest EATING day of the year too, right alongside Thanksgiving and Christmas! Everyone that I know has already gotten their snacks for the game, and those that haven’t are probably out at every store that’s open, shopping! 🙂

I encourage you to have a great time, wherever you are, but enjoy in moderation! You do NOT want to sabotage your hard work from January just for one day. Have some pizza, but enjoy a smaller slice. Have some chips and salsa, but not a plateful! Have some chicken fingers, but not more than 4 or 5. Fill up your plate with more fruits and vegetables. Have some sweets, but not too many – choose one and savor it!! Then tomorrow, remember those goals and get back to your fitness and nutrition routine!!

As for me, I am going to enjoy some chili in biscuit bowls, chips and salsa, flavored tea, and pound cake with strawberries and whipped cream! YUM!

Enjoy the commercials (oh yeah, and the game, too – ha ha ha ha)!!!
